We aim to excel in the quality of our produce and the service we provide. By shopping with us online you can expect high standards, just as our shop customers do.
Delivery times
Deliveries will take place between the hours of 8am and 6pm on a Tuesday and Wednesday depending on location, unfortunately we will not currently be able to offer a more accurate delivery time. We ask that your ‘safe place’ be made clear when ordering encase no one is in to receive your delivery.
Delivery Arrangements
Orders for Tuesday and Wednesday must be ordered by 12pm on the previous Saturday if you order after this time your order will be delivered the following week.
All orders are dispatched using our own refrigerated delivery vans. This ensures that goods are maintained in perfect condition during transit. When placing your order, it is important that someone should be at home to take delivery; the trained delivery drivers will have strict instructions to leave your order in your ‘safe place’ it is important that your ‘Safe Place’ is made clear at the checkout. The delivery shall be deemed to have been made either when the consignee accepts delivery in person, or when the driver leaves your order in the ‘Safe Place’. Joseph Morris Butchers Ltd cannot accept any responsibility for your order whatsoever if no one is at home at the time of delivery and is left in said ‘Safe Place’. The Delivery driver will call to inform you that your order has been delivered to ‘Safe Place’.
Delivery prices and Minimum order
We will currently not be able to deliver orders of less than £20. Deliveries of orders £20 or over will charged at a flat rate of £6.99.
Weight Variation
When your order is placed online with us, you will be ordering a nominal weight at a set price per kilo. We will then collect the payment via the payment method you select when placing the order. Your order will then be individually prepared, it can be expected that there may be some small variation in the weight you have chosen. We will ensure that you never receive less than your chosen weight, however you may have an upward variation of up to 10%. You will NOT be charged for this variation.
Acceptable product substitution
On the rare occasion an item you have ordered will not be in stock, you will be contacted the day before your delivery and offered an acceptable substitution.
Guarantee of Satisfaction
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the quality of the produce received, you should contact us within 24 hours of receipt. All complaints will be dealt with personally and immediately by our continental counter manager Andrew Morris please contact him on andrew.elton@joseph-morris-butchers.co.uk or 01788577298, who undertakes to resolve all complaints to your satisfaction within 7 days. Your statutory rights are not affected. We regret we are not able to accept returned goods or claims for goods ordered in error, due to their perishable nature.
Non-Delivery Claims
In the event of your order failing to arrive when expected, please contact us by email or by telephone within 24 hours of the expected delivery quoting your order number. We will immediately investigate and let you know the situation. Should your you will be entitled to a full and immediate refund.
Cancellation
We regret that due to the timescales involved in processing fresh meat orders, you cannot cancel or amend your order once it has been placed.
Data Protection
All personal data we collect from you will be used exclusively for the purposes of our relationship and stored securely and will not under any circumstances be passed on to any third parties without your permission.
Refunds
We will not be able to offer a refund on any fresh produce. We will also not issue refunds for any item’s deemed delivered unless following term (9) we feel there has been clear fault by ourselves at Joseph Morris Butchers.
Returns
We regret that due to the majority of items being fresh produce, we will not accept the return of any of these items deemed delivered.

Prices online may vary to those in store, this is done to keep delivery prices to a minimum.
